Scheduler request failed: Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates
..scheduler keeps deferring, tasks wont upload or download sad

Had no issues previously with BOINC however I notice that Windows update is also failing..

Have cleared DNS cache in the vain hope that would sort it.

Hi, Mont.

This is a known issue, but can have different causes. To let us help you best, I need to know your operating system, what version of BOINC you use and when you last installed/upgraded it, and I need to see your messages log (just copy it from the Messages tab, and paste it here.

Yeah, i experience this problem also. And suggested to copy file *i forgot the name* but it contains CA certificates sad and i already do that but not help. So i cancel install to that PC crying (but others are okay)

Had 6.19(?) when problem occurred, upgraged to 6.2.28 however it did not solve the problem. If you tell me how to access the logs for the previous version I will try and get those for you ;)

A wrong system date is only the most frequent reason for such messages when the correct certificates are available on the machine.
The other most frequent reason is that these certificates are not installed correctly or that they are obsolete.

Since you did not give any information on your setup I can only refer you to these Start Here FAQs
BOINC: Error "Scheduler request failed: ...own CA certificates"
BOINC error: "Scheduler request failed: ...th? access rights?)"
for finding your way.

If unsuccessful you will have to post the start of your message log here (as Mont has done above) for us to be able to help you.
