That's not resolving correctly. You need to flush your DNS. Rebooting is probably the simplest option. Well... I've rebooted... flushed my DNS... rebooted my OpenWRT router... and still... the traceroute resolves to the same IP as before. Perhaps my ISP is the issue? Lyos Gemini Norezel Oh... how odd. I just updated my boinc software From: BOINC: boinc-client.i386 Ver: 6.2.15-1.20080818svn.fc10 boinc-manager.i386 Ver: 6.2.15-1.20080818svn.fc10 To: BOINC: boinc-client.i386 Ver: 6.2.15-2.20080818svn.fc10 boinc-manager.i386 Ver: 6.2.15-2.20080818svn.fc10 (only one number is different between them). It's now working perfectly. Perhaps this was a problem with the Fedora version of BOINC? Lyos Gemini Norezel |

I too am having problems connecting to WCG.
My DNS is resolving as follows: Tracing route to grid.worldcommunity.org [38.97.225.135] over a maximum of 30 hops: I am running on windows. I fllushed my DNS. No luck. Notice the last 3 hops: 12 59 ms 59 ms 59 ms vl3540.na21.b006545-1.den01.atlas.cogentco.com [ 38.20.39.94] 13 59 ms 59 ms 59 ms 38.97.225.131 14 59 ms 59 ms 60 ms 38.97.225.135 Something wrong with the network config? Should it be .131 or .135? I am on windows. Fresh reboot this morning. |
