Happry New Year everyone! Have fun digesting all the numbers!
---------------------------------------- We ended up at 80,794,234 points for the year. That compares to 51,339,822 points in 2007. In other words, we did 63.5 percent more in 2008 over 2007! To do the same in 2009, we would have to do 132,134,056 points so what we did in 2008 was no small accomplishment!!! Even more so, we did what we did this year with 104 different users versus 145 in 2007. That's 63.5 percent more with 28 percent fewer users. My most sincere thank you to one very commited bunch of crunchers! |

Looking at 2008, here are a few facts that caught my eye:
----------------------------------------1) marysduby was not only our top cruncher but he also crunched almost half of his total from over a four plus year period in 2008 alone!!! 2) mushball moved up the most places in rank of our active members for 2008!!! 3) NiceMedTexMD moved up the most places in rank among all members!!! As I recall, this is with no i7's and no quads, only one dual core and a couple of laptops if I recall correctly. You don't have to have your own server farm to make a difference! |

Congratulations to the entire team, especially to those who caught your eye. It would be difficult for any team to improve on our growth this past year. Happy New Year everyone! |
