If it irritates you, abort it and let it run on the computer of someone who does not bother to bring up BOINC Manager to see what is happening. Eventually it will be withdrawn and sent to the project scientists to help them debug the CHARMM program.

Another computer got that work unit today when my computer missed the deadline and was marked "no reply." I'll abort it now because it clearly isn't working on my computer and there appears no further useful debugging information that I can supply and I'll free my cpu to work on other units.

Also got one of these.

Windows XP x64 SP2. Other tasks from this project and from all other projects are crunching fine.

I had the same problem with E000061_286A_000d4w00e. It ran unattended for 4 days, restarting every 20 minutes, before I connected to the system and aborted it.

Here is one that restarts for me. I aborted it after having noticed it before I left for my trip home. And saw it again when I got home. Other crunchers for this task resulted in error or abort.

I upgraded from BOINC 5.10.45 to BOINC 6.2.18 yesterday, and now I'm having a similar problem:

Repeated several times, about every half hour. Seems to be going back to 0 CPU time used each time so far, though.

So far, 4 people have gotten this workunit, and two quickly returned errors, so it's likely to be a problem with this specific workunit.
