There were many sets of the following three lines in BOINC Manager Messages tab:

Task E000013_925A_00022q00t_3 exited with a DLL initialization error.
If this happens repeatedly you may need to reboot your computer.
Restarting task E000013_925A_00022q00t_3 using cep1 version 619

Of course, a reboot had no effect on the lack of progress of this work unit.

Although it looks like not much CPU time was wasted on this work unit, it's not true. Each time the work unit restarted, the CPU time reset to zero. I worked on this work unit for six hours before I caught it and aborted it.

I sure hope someone is looking into these problems.
