When I first started, someone suggested a goal of 1 year/project, so I set off to do that. After I get 1 year on HCMD2, I'm going back to running all projects in order to spread the wealth. By doing that, I'm guessing I won't ever get a sapphire unless I can talk my wife into letting me replace both of my old Athlons with i7s.

With the number of people trying to get the new badges, will anyone be able to get a sapphire before this project ends? There is at least one already, but he is off the race: uplinger, the official WCG tester . brinktastee might like to take up the challenge... Good luck everybody. Jean. |

I'll get it. I was all ready running each project to 2 years. 2 of them I ran for 3 years worth of work. I have 3 project within days of 2 years worth of work.

Going to be busy the next couple months trying to top off the three projects finishing up Rice, DDD-T and renewable energy. Good fun and really keeps ones attention.

Since I hear CEP may be finishing soon, I decided to give all of my attention to this one project for now. I think clean energy is the best project to be in the set of projects being done but I have strong feelings about contributing to many of the others.

I've received my Ruby badge today. Let's see how far I can get with this project.

Man ONE badge from all Golds and they come out with all these new ones,
----------------------------------------Methinks I might have to get an I7 now that my quad core can't keep up with 8 or so projects... do i work on each ruby or try for a year in one.... decisions decisions... (Honestly I'm glad i was just going to sit on CEP with my quad and rice on wife's laptop and dengue on my laptop, so all these gems will be fun) |
