Wow gold finally. I've been excited about this project from day 1 but due to a series of problems (some on WGC's end, some on mine) it has taken much longer than I expected. Ah well, it's here.
Sadly though, due to my wanting the left side of the page to look pretty  , I'm going to have to leave for 95 CPU days (roughly 3 real weeks) to convert the other silvers to gold. I'll be back soon though as one of my goals was to get this to 1 year of credit (however it sounds like that won't happen if part 2 starts up. Oh well, perhaps I can grab a few Betas right before the conversion  ).See everyone in a bit... |

<Off topic really> Does the "badge thing" cause problems for projects? What I envisage is a pile of people jump on new things until they have gotten their gold badge, then switch to some other task for the same reason. Thus a project team is overwhelmed with results for a period, gears up for that, then sits waiting with nothing coming in. I have to admit myself to odd allegiency. I joined WCG because it was a team thing, but went quickly out of favour, (low credit I recall). I rejoined a month or so back because of the problems at CPDN and have since fiddled a little quota here and there to get my "worthless" badge. alot of people like me do jump to one project when a new project comes out... but then once i get gold i expand back to the normal projects i am running (right now HCMD2, AIDS, HFCC, HCC, CEP and RICE) and again alot of people run all projects.. so right now what ever of the 5 projects that i have selected isnt geting enough people doing work i get alot from that project.. when they are getting there fair share or more i get less or none from that project .. it all balances out...  |

Gold in for me too... Focussing on Flue and HFCC for a while, later returning for phase 2, or if there's still work in phase 1..

Hello all
----------------------------------------I just found out: Starting today we have 3 new badge levels Bronze - 14 days Silver - 45 days Gold - 90 days Ruby - 180 days Emerald - 1 year Sapphire - 2 years The Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire are the new badges, so many badges hunters in here will have a new goal now. The subject of this thread could be changed :-)

I just finished my push to get 1 year on CEP yesterday. Today, I logged in and found a shiny emerald.

personally yes i want all sorts of shiney badges but honestly i want us to successfully complete all projects also..
