I would like the have the choice as i have very seldom had any issues just on older slower pcs....the ones with little memory and slow hdds....
as a matter of fact im not upgrading boinc on most of m pcs because i want them to go faster and do more lol  |

Ron, go into the cc_config.xml and change the <start_delay>60</start_delay> value and have BOINC reread the config file via the advanced menu.
----------------------------------------Guess what my start up value says since when this option was made available. It does speed up booting.
