I have a problem with the BOINC client. When I close it from my task bar it's still running in the background.. I don't know how to stop it from computing.

I have a problem with the BOINC client. When I close it from my task bar it's still running in the background.. I don't know how to stop it from computing.


Right click on the icon in the Systray and then click exit. OK the dumb message it gives.

If Windows was a Hollywood starlet, the plastic surgeons of Beverly Hills would experience Nirvana. It's clearly not made to run for extended periods of time. Rebooting on a weekly basis (along with defragging) will save anyone considerable grief.
