Wow. We're now at 77,015,673 for the year and now need only 298,432.7 per day to make our goal. Hard to believe that we'll be doing ~160 percent of last year's performance if we do.

Lucie, hope you're doing okay with the power up there. I know NE is whacked bad but not heard anything about up your way. I've heard folks talk about the underground malls and such connecting the buildings in Toronto but I'm betting that's downtown and you STILL have to get there first so cold is cold. Down here, you do well to avoid the doorways if anyone spots a flake so you don't get trampled in the stampede. At least we're starting to learn about generators down here as odds are we get the freezing stuff instaed of snow. For those caught by the cold, it was just above 60F here about 9PM tonight. On the flip side, we've had a lot of dreary overcast days with the foggy, drizzly rain. At least the big lake here has stopped setting record low levels (this last batch of real rain actually raised it a foot). Depressing weather but we can use all the rain we can get. Toronto well what can I say about Toronto, I am i Quebec near Montreal. We still have fond memories of Toronto getting 6 inches of snow and having to call out the Army to help clear the streets. Only in Toronto the god. lol I have been on the road for the past few weeks and I must say the snow doesn't bother me at all, its just those city drivers without snow tires that are a royal pain. Country folks know how to deal with the white stuff. I drove home last night thru a storm and still averaged 45 MPH. Just find a semi and let him lead. lol As for generators.... I have a Diesel power pack. http://www.auroragenerators.com/standby-diesel-generator.html That says it all and If the power lines go down, I still have Sat TV and the Hot Tub. The house has 2 wood stoves and at last count I still had 10 face cords of wood in the garage or patio. The forecast is for a heavy snow storm here sunday night, and unless it is over 15 inches I presume that the town will have the roads open within hours, before I clear my driveway. L Nice to see Canada has its own version of the "North vs South" That's quite the rig you have but you do have the bigger needs up that way. I just have a small 6500W Honda. It's an odd experience to be warm and toasty, cook, watch TV and even do laundry in the middle of a power outage during an ice storm. It's all too rare to see snow down here. It does happen but odds are we'll see sleet and freezing rain. Down here, we don't bother plowing. Kind of hard to plow ice anyway. We just learn how to drive on it (must be the moonshining heritage). Problem here is all the Yankees used to snow and plows! ![]() |

Blizzie, what happened to your stats? You were on track to overtake me and now you're lagging? Also, did you get Akimbo Assassins on L4D yet on Advanced?
