Re: BOINC Version Confusion in reguards to WCG and Berkeley

Why would you add an "Update all Projects" button when selecting all projects and hitting "Update" does that in 6.2... maybe a reason to downgrade... LoL

I didn't even know this was an option in the newer versions. The computers I tinker with the most, all have 5.10.45.. Guess I will be updating those this weekend.

Re: BOINC Version Confusion in reguards to WCG and Berkeley

I was running 5.10.45 then went to BOINC and downloaded and installed 6.2.18. When my computers crashed and had to reformat the hard drives. For several months, I thought it would be fun to crunch some SETI numbers, which I did. Both versiopns worked fine for me but not for others. So why don't you try them all to see which one is right for you if you're fixed on using the latest and greatest version.
