Hi, all.
I'm using client version 6.2.12 on Xubutu Linux. My BOINC stuff was running fine until I upgraded my distro and the new client was installed. I now get the following error repeatedly. Can anyone help? Cheers, Chris. Fri 10 Oct 2008 16:51:38 BST|World Community Grid|Sending scheduler request: Project initialization. 6.2.12 isn't a recommended version. Either use the stable 5.10.45, or the latest 6.2.19.
There are a couple of other things we can check if this doesn't solve the problem. |

Thanks for the advice. As the version of Xubuntu that I'm using has a few weeks before it is publicly released (http://www.xubuntu.org/promote/intrepid/countdown), I shall wait to see what upgrades are rolled-out. Hopefully the package maintainer is considering making the default client the 6.2.19, as you mentioned.

Hello chris_debian,
Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates This problem is discussed in Start Here at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=15682#121477 The most common Linux fix is to download a current ca-bundle.crt certificate file. Lawrence |
