Viktors says that fsck is still trundling slowly over the 2 terabyte disk array. They are looking at ways to cram [some] work units from other projects onto the remaining disk space being used by HPF2 and NRW. I think that the last time I used a low-level disk check program (Spinrite) it was on a 1 GB drive and it took overnight - - close to a day.
