It would appear we did well while I was gone! biggrin A belated welcome to wrr to the MOT Millionaire's Club too! Hard to believe I took first back on the 15th. Ah, quirks of chance I suppose. I see parmesian still appears to be clearing a few here and there from the PV jail. I just hope it's a lack of power still and not something worse!! My wife has relatives in northwest Houston that lost a car to a tree and shared a few trees with their neighbors but had none on their house. Very fortunate! Last Saturday night when we pulled in to the motel for the night, there were at least half a dozen rigs with utility crews pulling in as well. That was in Virginia. I suspect they're still in Texas. Jonathan, thanks again for grabbing the data for me. Blizzie, best of luck and hope things go well for you!

Man, talk about a lot of catching up to do! Good to hear from largethunder and mushball here. Dang! I even broke into the top 2500 in points while I was gone. I see MOT is not far from reaching our first quarter BILLION points! biggrin Also, we're up to 54,722,985 points for the year here at WCG.

I'm so glad you're running the project. Isn't it ridiculous how much it produces? Just so you know, it is going to increase your electric bill substantially, so take it easy for a month or so to see the impact.

I think I love PS3grid more than WCG at this point from a purely technological standpoint. Apparently folding@home is running this in the near future.

Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 29 smilesmile

Hey all smile

A bit of an update on what's going on here. Moved in dorm on Friday. It was pretty awesome meeting new people and all. I found it amazing how after just a few hours everyone was so close together. We basically converted someones triple room to a hangout place. Haha. laughing

Classes don't start until Thursday but we have events through the days. Some are mandatory.

Roommate is awesome. We talked over the summer online and it looks like it'll be a great year.

Lets see... I think it's a good idea to start off easy for my first quarter to get a hang about how the college lectures/homework/tests work.

biggrin

So Blizzie, I have a great scam for you as far as laundry is concerned. When I was at Vassar, I would stand in the laundry room with my clothes, the detergent, and a roll of quarters and would look helpless until one of the girls would help me. The trick is you have to be very complimentary of their laundry prowess. Hey sometimes you even get a date out of it!

Seriously, hope all goes well and I hope you guys have some super LAN parties, in addition to some regular parties wherein you will meet some attractive single women.

How well I know that. biggrin I'm glad things are going well well for you in the first days.

The first PS3grid wu completed successfully. peace It is weird to look at a job that took 12 hours to complete and produced 3,232 credits but only used 36 cpu seconds. On the other hand, the job running on the 8400 card only did 10% in 9 hours sad It will be interesting to see how that one ends up.

Morning MOT. coffee
