2 hours. Well, it's time. ![]() Good luck Vincent ... no doubt you will do well. @Jonathan: I thought you said this would be easy! After digging deeper I find I have IRQ and DMA conflicts between the Coprocessor and the SM Bus Controller. I'm back to 6.2.18 until I have some time to try to resolve it. I think my body is in the UK time zone this morning afternoon evening ![]() ![]() |

It might be damaged. I have no idea about the IRQ and DMA conflicts. |

2 hours. Well, it's time. ![]() Drop us all a line tonight and let us know how it goes. Also, remember to have a beer with your roommate on the first night - it helps set the tenor of your relationship. |

Let me know if that helps. |

Go to this page: http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_get.html download all three cuda drivers. Install all three. Let me know if that helps. I aready did that as part of the installation process. Oh also, make sure that BOINC isn't installed as a service. Yes, I missed that at first but I reinstalled it the correct way. Device manager shows an IRQ conflict. Also PS3grid requires the card to have a driver >= to 177.xx. I went to Nvidia and ran an auto-inspect of the card and the most current driver I can get for that card is 175.xx. I think that is a show stopper. I can't upgrade the card as I am already pushing the limits of the power supply. I hope some of the other MOT gamers will give it a try as it really can chew through the work. At your rate, you will pass WCG in our BOINC MOT team credits. It was worth a try though. ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Dataman at Sep 19, 2008 7:57:54 PM] |

But we have the same card. Try installing it on a machine with VISTA 32 bit. That's what I'm running. I don't really know anything about 64 bit. You have an 8800gt right? I'm running this driver 7.15.11.7781. See if it's compatible. Also, if you really can't use the card, I might be able to find you a buyer.
