Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 29 smilesmile

Hey all, I remember a few of you asking me to post the first "sermon" I preached at Harvard's Andover Chapel this year. Here it is. Spoken it ran about 5 minutes.

While I agree with you on the existence of some nebulous god, I must say that, to me, it reads more like a resume’ rather than a sermon. But then it is not like my opinion will get you into “heaven”. wink Good luck with it!

Well, it was an introduction. The top four MDiv candidates were asked to introduce themselves and talk about religious, intellectual, and social life in divinity school. And 5 minutes isn't enough to really get into a sermon.

Pack, pack, pack away,
Packing is so fun,
After we're done packing up,
Then we have a bunch of boxes.

(In the tune of row, row, row your boat)

Not sure that last line works in the rhyme/meter scheme.

Good morning MOT! coffee

Once again I am pleased to report that my government has mortgaged the dreams of the middle class to protect the assets of the wealthy. Just as some companies are too big to fail, some boards of directors are too incompetent to be fired. However I take solace in knowing that Blizzie’s grandchildren will be there to pay the bill. But hey! This morning the financial capitol of the world moved from New York to Washington DC.

(If you missed any of the sarcasm, please read it again.) biggrin

Back to the grind ... there is the faint but sweet aroma of money in the air. wink

Crunch on teammates!! cowboy

PS: The new vid card arrives Friday. smile

You should get Half Life 2 and play Counterstrike now that you have a Gamer's computer.

It did not have to happen that way and it did not work ... as today's blood bath in the world-wide markets shows. Barkleys Capital made the deal of the decade with Leaman Bro's. It cherry picked the best of the assets for chump change after the bankruptcy.

Look to tomorrow as WaMu prepares to auction off its assets. The vultures are now circling Wachovia too.

Actually, Sarah Palin wants to regulate the banking industry. So when John McCain dies, either of natural causes, or because he has reinvaded Vietnam, good old Palin will bring in communism. RON PAUL 08.
