Hey Blizzie, when does school start up for you? Summer language ends in a week, then we get a month break, then we're back Sept. 14 for the first day of (course) shopping week.

Hey Blizzie, when does school start up for you? Summer language ends in a week, then we get a month break, then we're back Sept. 14 for the first day of (course) shopping week. Move in is on the 19th. Classes start 25. September. I don't want to go yet. Nah man, it's going to be the best 4 years of your life. I don't know a single person who didn't love college. Make sure you have a beer with your roommate when you move in to set the tenor of the relationship - that you're both a couple of chilled out guys ready to have a good time. Oh and one more thing. Whatever time they tell you to arrive on the first day, get there an hour before that so you can move in and claim the better bed/desk. |

Quad for crunching, graphic design, photoshop, video edit, etc. Duo has the better core speed so it's better for gaming, everyday usage. I'd go with the Quad over the Duo. Vista Ultimate's BitLocker Encryption only works on some BIOS motherboards. Make sure to do some research before hand. I'd go with the quad.   |

What are you planning on majoring in? Dr. Mike Mike, as soon as I saw that you had posted a comment (but before I read what you wrote) I KNEW you were going to say that! My goal later in life is to return to college and collect eight or nine B.A.'s in various fields I've been interested in, but have not had time to study, like Film, French, Physics, Biology, Psychology, History, etc. and write a book about the experience called "Jack of All Trades." |

Keith. Don't get a Core 2 Duo or a Core 2 Quad.
