Hi!
----------------------------------------It's not very hard to notice, that in past 3 weeks overall WCG runtime decreased from 180-230 years per day to 170-200. Is it some general WCG problem or... just universe fluctuations? ![]() |

Have a look at the points: you will see that there is barely any change in the points at all.
Why is this? Well, UD is done with - finished. The points lost less than 3% (this is my estimate, it may be inaccurate/out of date). The runtime, though, lost a lot more (maybe 5-6%). This is because the UD agent over-reported run time, because it measured wall clock time, not CPU time. |

"Production" in points (not in runtime) is slightly varying around an average which is steadily progressing by 2 to 5 % per month since several weeks. For the last seven days it is about 5-6 % lower than one week ago, but that week was particularly high.
----------------------------------------The best-ever daily production under normal circumstances was achieved on Tuesday June 3 with 140,016,696 points. The best total for seven consecutive days was beaten on June 6, 7 and 8, finally reaching 910,566,397 points (i.e. 130,080,914 per day) on June 8. And the best total for 30 consecutive days was beaten on June 8, 9 and 10 with 3,781,328,361 points (i.e. 126,044,279 per day) on June 10. Cheers. Jean. |

Hi! It's not very hard to notice, that in past 3 weeks overall WCG runtime decreased from 180-230 years per day to 170-200. Is it some general WCG problem or... just universe fluctuations? Add: Galactic rays hitting the many bigger Colleges contributors into long summer break submission and Northern Hemisphere heat simply forcing people to switch off or run a lower CPU utilization. The big recovery usually starts about mid September.
