Re: Language

This "niet-voor-winstinspanning" is not even proper. Generally "Non-Profit" is accepted .... the Dutch language is ever evolving and adopting words from elsewhere, but "Zonder Winstoogmerk" would be better. Try that and see what you make of that.... ofl

Heel goed. biggrin

Hmm I though that 'niet voor commerciele doelen' would also be fairly close to the mark. Not that I'm offering to provide a translation service for the site content into Dutch ........ now that *would* mangle it beyond repair !

As for the evolution of modern Dutch, apparently the freestyle incorporation of English words in everyday conversation goes by the name of 'turbotaal' (turbo language) :)

Cheers,
Sean

Re: Language

2 retsof As for Russian language, not so long ago I offered my services to help making translation to Russian language. I was politely explained, that German language are probably will be implemented in nearest future, but no Russian translation is planned for the moment and no help is required. It was pretty strange, because it the News section there is an article: "IBM attracts Russian scientists: the project in the field of environment protection".

Re: Language

only because it takes them a lot of time to work up a translation...

The techs did not want to ask for help right now if it would be a long time before they could use it.

They have been busy pushing out projects but realize that several language translations would be useful for an international project, including Russian.
