Edit: Hm is there a way I can set it to switch it so WCG uses 80% on both cores on and off. I want some CPU time for games without completely pausing it. Yep, in the "Advanced View" of BOINC, click on "Advanced" at the top then select "Preferences" and click on the "Processor Usage" tab. At the bottom enter whatever percentage you want in "Use at most X% CPU Time".   |

On my quad core I run WCG while playing crysis with no slow down.
LOL, when you're as awesome as I am, you don't worry much about these things. In other good news, my alienware is up and running now. I expect to see about 1-2k points per day from that bringing me back into competition with blizzie. It's on now son! Lie. All lies. Well, I'm back. I know, it's been a while(!) - circumstances change and all that but I'm back online and getting the Mac doing it's bit for humanity. How is Dave Bell doing? Obviously dates my recent involvement. Looking forward to helping out again! WARDSTAR |

I tried. It stays at 100% still o.O I think you have to wait for the next contact with the server for that to take hold. Just a guess. |
