How do I see how much time I have worked in a specific project?
----------------------------------------I don't see that breakdown on the stats page. I have been working hard trying to get ACH work units to get that badge. Now that I have it under the new rules I was wondering how far off I was. -Jasm580

You'll be getting to see that in a future My Grid page update, but obviously, WCG cant be filling in all these individual requests. Many who were trying hard to join the other 99 actually making it to 14 days, tallied the jobs. I use BOINCview Completed job filter.... was near half way.

I got one this morning, but don't know whether it was a one day badge or a 14 day badge.
---------------------------------------- In the recent 3 filtered pages of results available I had 42 workunits including 6 pending, 1 inclusive and 1 invalid.

KNREED, thank you very much for your fantastic improvement and contribution in this thread . Congratulations for your asap action and effectiveness ! Your final idea was very useful and hopeful for a lot of WCG bagde maniac crunchers !  I really think that this comparison in terms of spent time considered for each project, is very fair and the measurement just implemented to get the badge was a simple and great idea. Thank you very much SEKEROB too, to launch here this idea first of all ! Now, I ask to KNREED another cruzade to think about possibilities to implement the same kind of approach for BETA projects, which are (in terms of sizing and duration) comparable to AC@H, maybe small than... (I really don't have sure if I'm right but is just my guess based on the numbers of Beta projects in Statistics page of WCG. I hope so...). P.S: UhhAhhh ! I'm feel good ! I just got my first AC@H WU ! I'm very satisfied just with this one, and just to add my contribution for more one important project in WCG ! I hope that this kind of project initiative could be extended soon to all world wide areas like South America for instance, once we are feeling the hard consequences of El Nino climate phenomena (besides a lot of areas in the world...). Not sure if it has been mentioned before or not, But what about making the ACH Sun Badge change to a different color for each milestone ? Say like a Blue Sun for 1 day completed, Purple for 3 days, Red for 7 days, and then keeping the Yellow for the full 14 ? Just a thought.

That could mean a blue badge morphing into a purple as some pending units get validated. Interesting.

That was a good idea. In fact we are doing to do it now. [snip] We have decided to set the threshold for badges for ACH at 1 cpu day. We will make the change now although it may take several hours for the badges to show up due to caches in the forum software. Although I was only 3 or 4 WUs away from 14 days, I've got one now!  At least I don't have to actively manage my cruncher to make sure I got ACH WUs. I was using the technique I explained in another thread and got 22 WUs since March 1st. I was hopeful that I would get the remainder before the end. Now I don't have to worry. Thanks |
