Hey folks. I'm not sure what, if anything, will happen tomorrow, but I have to go to the VA Hospital in the morning because I have developed cellulitis in my good (left) leg. Hopefully they will just give me antibiotics and send me home, but there is a chance I might be admitted. I will let you know when I am home tomorrow or when I get out.

Hey Keith, have you noticed our stats getting solidly bumped? For the moment, yes. But we're getting to that time where we're gonna drop again as the heat-constrained go on haitus. What I'd really like to see is 60+ members returning results each day. |

Hey folks. I'm not sure what, if anything, will happen tomorrow, but I have to go to the VA Hospital in the morning because I have developed cellulitis in my good (left) leg. Hopefully they will just give me antibiotics and send me home, but there is a chance I might be admitted. I will let you know when I am home tomorrow or when I get out. A little quick research finds that cellulitis is a bacterial infection of the skin usually caused by strep or staph. If not bad, it can be treated with antibiotics at home. Bad cases are treated in the hospital with IV antibiotics. The bacteria usually get in through a cut, sore or bug bite. Handling meat or dirt without gloves is not a good idea. Seems that once you've had it, it's easier to get again. If it gets into the blood or lymph nodes, that's very serious and can be deadly. It can lead to sepsis, meningitis, and blood clots in the legs. Good luck tomorrow! |

Still working at 642 AM. Really rethinking that doctorate in philosophy - I'm not sure I can keep this up for six to seven more years! I'm too old for this $h!t.
