The 'legendary' JonathanMurphy (Spanky) would be proud of that! BTW, when JonathanMurphy was crunching here at the WCG, he was one of the leading crunchers at the time. The story of how he built his rig farm that we called the "Magical Garden Shed". I wish I could find that post he made on our WCG section at our old home board. Really amazing story. A post I dug up about the Magical Garden Shed at the old Board (the pic from Littlemiss to illustrate what Jonathan's "Magical Garden Shed" might look like: -------------------------------- Actually, you are closer to the truth than you think! The 'shed' is actually an old brick Apple Store - Our house used to be a Cider Press hundreds of years ago.  You can see the house behind the trees - the building to the right is 'the' shed! This was taken a year or two back - for some reason snow doesn't settle on the roof there any more Spanky. A very small milestone for me today. I've managed to climb up the ladder enough to be on page 1 of the team's points generated with 500,000 points going to the team. This will save me the effort of clicking the page button to move to page 2 to see how I've progressed. Also passed the 1000 results credited to the team – but still on page 2 for that statistic. Hopefully page 1 by tomorrow.
Moving up on page 1 will be daunting. Plenty of serious numbers there. Anyway, starting to feel all warm and fuzzy. Group hug? |

Zephyrspark, have no fear. It will take me a year of crunching before I become a small speck in your rear view mirror. These old and slow dual core machines may even expire from exhaustion before then - it's a long uphill hike. Plenty of time for you to get a new build plugged into the grid.
