There were so many annoying spammers that kept registering that I just closed down registrations entirely. That's the only option aside from throwing a bunch of money monthly to subscribe to the built in spam system offered by InvisionPower unfortunately. Manually approving registrations is a nightmare because the spammers register so many names from a bazillion addresses that you never know if any are real people. Basically, it's there for Members who had been there for years and maybe would like to come home' like ET every now and then.
