Aye. thanks for the welcome, Im quite the chatty person, so I hope to become more active on the forums, as well as with the rest of the team here. I like starting out small, as it makes meeting all the actives much easier, rather then being small man on the infinitely tall totem pole. I've been keeping my machines on wherever I can, and hopefully, those points going forward will help bump the team up a notch :3 Im coming for a slice of that pie chart! Just you wait and see! BTW, a UD point is from United Devices (from about 10 years ago). Our Team used to crunch there before WCG started. WCG says that the UD points here (when we used the United Device software client) would be difficult to convert to Boinc points due to integers and such. There are crunchers here who think "go ahead and try some kind of conversion" to give those of us with the old UD points the Boinc credit for of efforts. I am in favor for that. WCG basically also states that 1 Boinc point (credit) is equal to roughly 7 UD points. The conversion, if done would be very, very favorable; just like bringing back GPU work units that some/other Distributive projects have. Team forum? Yes. Just follow the link from our 'Join Team Andrax" here at the WCG (where they post the stats. Just click or double-click Team name and follow the URL listed. It may take about 2-3 days to get authorized. Very quiet there and it could stay that way after all these years. Then again, who really knows?  Even I am rushed *just* to do these stats and I honestly do not have the time for them on week days, yet I have been doing them for now.  Aloha, Co-Captains (fellow Team Mates)! I'll take care of that very soon. Do not know why you got that message. That never happened. THe forum had been updated and certain bugs do remain yet most of them were corrected. I'll make sure to learn what the problem is. *Right* now, I had barely enough time to manage even to login. My MCM1 work units finally uploaded but there was no work for that. I had to scramble here and place a check on the FAAH work units that are just now running. Am running late and will have to return if able. An important appointment to keep and then the stats here if possible. Geez, what a start for the day. Oh well, stuff happens!! Later (I hope)! Just logged out and I see that I am still logged in??? The IT News website "The Registry" (and many other news website are reporting a really scary story concerning OpenSSL: All over the world, systems administrators are scrambling to fix the OpenSSL “Heartbleed” bug. Sysadmins using the OpenSSL cryptographic library have an urgent job: patching a memory leak vulnerability that could reveal user IDs and passwords Security penetration testers are going to find themselves in work “through 2020” with this bug, Williams said, and noted that it's going to be hard to identify vulnerabilities in some environments. For example, he said, it's going to be hard to tell if Windows client programs were compiled against vulnerable OpenSSL versions. In a presentation given yesterday, Jake Williams – aka MalwareJake – noted that vulnerable OpenSSL implementations on the client side can be attacked using malicious servers to extract passwords and cryptographic keys. Williams said a malicious server could easily send a message to vulnerable software on phones, laptops, PCs, home routers and other devices, and retrieve a 64KB block of sensitive data from the targeted system.
