Anyone else had problems getting in results like me? This morning, there was about 54 hours of work units I had to send in manually.   Do you know Dinner for one? Same procedure as every....day  |

Thomas, how was die Wiesn? Have only been there two times, and without headache afterwards. Weather was not so fine, therefore you couldn't sit in the Biergarten, and all the tents were closed because of overfilling at 10:30 am. Weather was not so fine, therefore you couldn't sit in the Biergarten, and all the tents were closed because of overfilling at 10:30 am. One could have waited at the entrances to be let in, if a bunch of people would leave, but that would have taken hours and hours edit: bad english, and again What a pity! Overfilling at 10:30am??? I know how important tourism is (especially in this very bad economy), yet, maybe they should have two festivals of Die Wiesn 7-10 days apart. That way, the local people there could enjoy their Wiesn! It is ony right! I once went to an Octoberfest (I was invited) in (of all places) in a 1,200 year old city, Bad Hersfeld (near Fulda and Kassel). It was ... great! Then again, no one had to wait because of 'overfilling'. I mean, this is a Bavarian festival! Let the other visitors come just a few days later after your Wiesn is over! The problem is: there are a LOT of breweries that want to build a tent at the wiesn. But the lobby of the tent-owners is so strong, that these breweries don't get a licence to. So we have only 11 tents, that means something about 130.000 places. 20 tents could easily be filled. The tourists who come to the wiesn at 11:00 am or later are frustrated and flood the city. More than 6 million visitors and only 130.000 places? How stupid can you get? Many people make it into a tent and stay there for 8, 10, or 12 hours. The wiesn uses only about 50% of the available place of the Theresienwiese (hence the name wiesn), so 10 more tents could easily find place.
