Small bump... 90,000 accumulated CPU years passed just now in contribution towards analyzing folds of various proteomes.

Don't let me stop you from Crunching On. Don't worry on that count - I'm fast approaching my Emerald badge here (at long last) ![]() Question is, will it be the re-emerence of HFCC or the start of a new project which slows my progress to Green before I have to decide whether it's CEP2 or C4CW I concentrate on next... Decisions, decisions... ![]() ![]() |

Very major milestone: HPF2 as the second research project/phase at World Community Grid, has reached 100,000 runtime years contributed, through nearly 119 million results returned. See WCGPF2 at top of this thread.

Major milestone on this open ended research... 125 million results validated [and each one is slightly different, though it's called quorum 15]
See http://bit.ly/WCGPF2 for the bigger picture (is it big enough?) Fold On --//-- |

On the threshold of it's 'premature' ending, the 125,000 CPU years milestone for HPF2, see http://bit.ly/WCGPF2 . Combined with phase 1, well over 151,000 years was computed for Human Proteome Folding.
Crunch On, till the end. |

Crunching!
----------------------------------------20 cores for HPF2 until 5 years or it ends, 451 more days, with 20 cores... 14.5 days with an 8 day que... whatever, so long as we finish another project! (and get more) ![]() |

As is the custom nowadays, projects set records on the home strectch, and HPF2 proofs no different... on the last day of regular supply 138.3 Years were delivered back [albeit it's a Monday, with pre-weekend work being returned by the office machines to complete the many open batches]. See http://bit.ly/WCGPF2
Applaud yourself and your fellow crunchers who made this possible for the scientists, regardless the sad untone of Proteome Folding having ended sooner. Crunch On. |
