I've got 32 bit drivers etc. and running Vista 32 on it. No native 64 bit stuff... My other machines are all AMD64 single core running XP 32, so that question comes up now and then...
----------------------------------------It's even OEM Vista 32. It doesn't even have a 64 option due to the cost savings. I would have to buy one or the other for OEM. OEM Vista (whatever version) 64 is sold separately. The other wrinkle is that the OEM version is tied to this mobo. It's not transferable like the regular vista. I tend to run things to death, so that's not a problem. This is RETSOFtware opus 1. OOPS. I *HAD* grabbed BOINC 64 by mistake. It's amazing that BOINC 32 has a different dataset name. What a concept!! The Vista install went OK, finally, after many typical restarts. Somewhere in the middle, the BOOTMGR (on the hard drive) was bad. I got rid of the message by taking the HD out of the boot sequence in the BIOS. After the install finished, a good boot manager was out there. I fixed the BIOS boot seq to add the HD, and I'm good to go. BOINC 5.10.30 is now contributing pairs of workunits...
