Thanks for all your good wishes everyone - it means a lot.
 I expect I will close down very early tomorrow morning. Little furry friend still at the vets, so it is over to Brenda now. (For those that don't know she is a member of the Edwardians - 'Catitude'). Hopefully I'll be back in touch with you in a couple of weeks - depends on when I come home and whether or not I can sit at this machine.Take care of the place while I'm gone  and behave all of you!! |

P.S. I actually took a taxi to the village today for my writing session. First time for weeks I have been out in anything other than an ambulance. Met my wife and granddaughter at the pub afterwards, and we were joined by one of the other group members and his wife.
Came home after lunch and entered my daily diary item. Was surprised to find the computer was displaying non-secure items, so decided to strike while the iron was hot, entered a few more posts and managed to check a few e-Mails before it crashed again. spent a few hours updating my drivers and it seems to be O.K. now, so it is my turn to cross fingers. Time will tell! |

 <feeling stoopid> I'm running only one instance of the program, checked my task mgr, and there's TWO boincmgr.exe showing, along with one boinc.exe. Now, how did that happen, and how do I make it stop?What it gives me is a double-dose of the little icon down there in the clock corner... Sorry to pop in with a question, but I AM on your team  I'm not caught up on all that's happening, but here a pot full of hugs for thems that needs 'em! Merle, JP, make certain you pick up yours! Good morning everyone. Late I know, but better late in this world than early in the next!
Bobi, dont worry about having more machines than you avtually have, we all have half a dozen for each machine! Its a quirk of the system! As for the little icons right click one of them and delete (its only a shortcut button). Have a good trip! (Where's the envy button?) Merles Big day, and am routing for her, be good to see her running around like she used to. Its good that she has such a good friend in Brenda (Catitude) to keep her eye on the cat! Harrold is gadding about again, and thats a good sign! Well done mate! Thoughts go out to JP too. All of you get well soon. I think we out to rename the team "The old crocks" and didnt I spot Den in there somewhere?? Take care everyone! |
