It uses an iframe. Unfortunately, many forums and social sites are going to filter it out.

Most of those sites allow the creation of additional gadgets/widgets/capabilities. I personally use WordPress for my personal website to share pictures and updates with friends. I'm looking at building a plugin for it that would allow me to put my stats onto my blog site on the sidebar. If your preferred site doesn't allow the iFrame widget to work (usually because it will escape the HTML) - then talk to one of the technical people at the site or on your team and see if you can build the plugin needed for your site. With the new XML interfaces and other tools we have added today we hope that the members are able to come up with great ways to use these features around the web.

Is the widget only usable on a web site?
----------------------------------------I do not have a web site. But I already use signature blocs from BOINC Stats or BOINC Synergy in email and on some forums. Is this usable that way, with the It sure is nice, I would love to be able to use it to emphasize WCG. >>RSM |

You can use it anywhere that a iFrame is allowed to be used.

knreed, thank tou very much for the script. I needed exactly this logo.
If it were possible to choice a more little logo, it would be fine, because with screen 1028 x 780 the logo is a little too large. But it is Ok like that. |

I don't know if I'm allowed to link out but here's my small site. (I don't really use it)
----------------------------------------http://blizzie.com/world-community-grid/ Does anyone know why there's that huge gap between the Widget banner and my Personal Milestones? I checked the coding, but there's nothing separating them.. ![]() Edit: Also, since I don't feel like creating a new thread.. Are the Badges permanent? I'm pretty sure I crunched for more thab 14 days on the other projects... Hm. I guess I get to redo them. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 15, 2008 11:48:26 PM] |
