By the way, despite the fact we're going to win our challenge with the Edwardians by a comfortable margin due to the absence of their top producer, we need to stay strong and keep putting up good numbers. We're going to be lucky this time - might not happen next time. Let's not count our chickens yet. It's only the second day of 28. There is still PLENTY of time for who knows what to happen. Nite Owl could find a way to keep his crunchers going while he's gone too. Let's take it one day at a time. And i hooked up some slow machines--maybe 200-300 extra points. I had them off to save elec.  |

Jonathan, assuming your premise is correct, would Blizzie still be ahead because he would finish more WUs in the same amount of time than if he de-OC'd to that double standard machine point? Take a look at my results. (This is my C2D E6600 @ 3.6 GHz. Note that my RAM is also overclocked to 1066 MHz, if that makes a crunching difference). You can see that sometimes I get about 2x the amount of points I should be getting.  And here is my Quad at stock 2.4 GHz. The horrible "free" motherboard is bottlenecking it.. So my Duo makes up for it. I cannot afford a new motherboard for $120.   It's everything I have (the Pentium 4 and laptop is a family computer), and to me, it means everything to be able to participate. Sorry for stretching the thread..  |

And is there a way to display Points, Results, and Runtime under that banner? I'm not that great at coding.. And why do I only have two badges? I contributed more than 14 days worth of runtime for the other projects in the past. I guess I get to move off course to do them.  And.. they stay forever right? I'll be expecting something creative when I get home from school. Lucky you. You get to go to school ... I get to go to the dentist today to get my choppers polished. Hm coincedence, I had a visit today also. Apparently they like me because I have to come back soon. |

Move my Duo onto those projects.Blizzie, what gap are you referring to? Looking at your points/rank on the new widget and the stats box you use in the forum here , they're the same. The milestones you get on the team won't include crunching on your own before you joined the team. Looking at your webpage, your personal milestones there look fine with what WCG shows. Could it just have been a system belch over the new stuff today? As for the badges, I think there's a stats page somewhere that will show you by project. Will have to look for that after tonight's stats finish. If they show you have 14 days or more for a project that you're not getting a badge for, post it over in Website support. Now as for your points and those sometimes being double what you expect, I think I've noticed the same sort of thing. It's not double points but you're getting the same number of points the other cruncher in the quorum got. I thought they were still figuring an average but maybe that changed or goes odd in some cases with the quorum of two now for some projects. I'll have to have a look at mine and see if we need a thread for that in Website Support as well. |

How's the new job going? Getting deep into the wedding plans yet? Been getting up to speed on Corel Draw but seem to have the basics down there. Going thru trying to learn stuff to get started on the coding. Trying to get the thinking in up front so I don't end up doing a bunch of rework. About to start getting some basics out there I think. Plan to take it one step at a time. Now if work would just settle down to just plain crazy instead of full blown insane! Gotta love the dang bean counters these days. Always wanting to get blood out of a stone. Oh well, bath time....uh, for my 4 yr old that is.
