I've just seen one unit since the begining of that project. As there not a lot of unit sent per day, what would be kind is that members who have allready got ACH badge get read of ACH from there favorite projects to let more chance to the others to get the badge too. Ok. Sounds good. |

I got 19 ACH units in three days - 27, 28, 29/01/2008 ...
----------------------------------------But I'm still waiting for the badge ^^ Maybe I have a solution to maximize the chance of having a ACH unit : crunch only for DDT project so the units are very small, and set work buffer to 0. The WUs of DDT are so small your computer will send and receive units far more often than others projects. I don't know if it can be helpful ... Can I see the total running time for my account, project by project ? [Edit 2 times, last edit by Exar Kun [HoloNet] at Feb 6, 2008 3:40:29 PM] |

Not yet. That's a requested feature, and I believe the techs have allocated time to add it further down the road.

If my calc's are correct I should have my badge shortly. |

Another way is to set ACH the only project, without checking the "send me another work ..." checkbox, then increase the work buffer, send a refresh for the project, and look at the messages to see if there is work units for ACH. If not, then go on wcggrid.com to re-check the DDT project ...

Hello Zigfried,
----------------------------------------Your work buffer is specified in your global preferences. This can be overridden if you use local preferences for a computer. To set your global preferences, select My Grid - Device Manager then click on your (selected profile). Select Custom Profile and then drop down to Workunit Cache Settings at the bottom. Be sure to set all the other required fields and select Save. To set local preferences, bring up BOINC Manager, then select Advanced - Preferences - Network Usage and set the Additional Work Buffer value. Remember, local preferences will override your global prefere3nces on the website. Don't forget that and confuse yourself later. I changed my settings according to this, but there is no any WU from AC@H, still. Is that normal ? |

Including the 'repair' work for failed jobs WCG sends out about 1200 of these puppies in a week. The weekly WCG turnaround is about 2.2 million work units. How small the odds are to get one or more right when they go into the feeders can be guessed!
