Sorry, ever since the first time I wrote those letters of yours, they caused me synaptic turbulence. Please forgive - think of all the times I got it right, TLD See what I have to do is actively thinking that D comes before L, but that this is opposite! Some process, eh? So, please again: Think of the numerous times I got it right in spite of those odds - and now my brain works even more poorly because of what may be a "Walking Pneumonia" - wish it would walk away ... May I call you Ted in public, TLD, please? - I think I have lots of times without permission, tho |

Good Afternoon Base Campers
----------------------------------------Trek #30 Report As I write cswchan has joined us with Team Boise Idaho. Welcome, and thank you for coming Food I'm really glad I gave you the tip of finding your food in the park, because NAP2614 is unfortunately unable to feed us these days. For those of you who hate eating pigeon shashlik and grilled squirrel, I dreamed up a Big Cold Table - Stort Koldt Bord - a Danish tradition. ![]() You have a table filled with all the ingredients necessary for creating your own Smørrebrød - open sandwiches (hidden underneath all that topping is black bread - good, black bread which going without gives you withdrawal symptoms in a few days if you're a Dane). With it is traditionally served chilled aquavit and beer Afterwards we'll take coffee and Danish Butter Cookies. Please help yourselves, Base Campers. Culture Music Well, I'll keep it simple. I liked two of yesterday's carefully selected songs so much that I created a Trek #30 playlist bjbdbest takes an active part in the musical life of Base Camp and gives some wonderful input. She found a mermaid song and gave it to me. Thank you very much, Bev - that should keep any - if any - suitor away Great Big Sea One day in Hexagame, I saw to my horror that she had a reply to the item "Denmark" that ought to have been this original 1974 The Walkers hit (actually filmed on 16 mm film by later to be famous movie director Bille August): Sha-la la-la-la yes, Ghost Plane, I know you will love their hair and clothes ... - but instead bjbdbest linked to this Dutch version which at first glance made me freeze what would people think?Actually, it's a little more than funny to watch - almost makes me wish it was Danish ... Sha-la la-la-la GTCola2010 - have been looking for you, kid, have missed you a bunch and been so worried ... I know you're around, and you would make me very happy by joining Trek #30 and crunch for NAP2614 and his recovery [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 17, 2011 7:42:17 PM] |

You do?
---------------------------------------- Ghostie, whom do you think will fall in love with me after this? Good Afternoon Base Campers Trek #30 Report alephNull - that's how it's written on the list - is in on our current Trek now. Welcome to your first Trek, aleph (have to work around that Null). Glad you could make it. You asked what to do if you were about to outperform the native Team Boise Idaho members. You just go ahead and twist that right handle without looking back. NAP2614, you are the Top Gun of Team Boise Idaho - the one not to pass if "Gentlemanly Crunching" is to be observed Please tell us if we come too close for comfort. Ghost Plane and sujo1 cannot make it on this one - but we certainly have room for more tents in our camp ground. How about you Lone_Wolf53? We haven't seen you for a while, and this Trek is tailor made for you. You'll even get to design the badge and adjust the height on all of them to an exact 64 pixels as you once proposed - how about that? And GTGola2010, I so hope to see you. No-no-no, no spanking - just missing you Just had news from Dan Holtz who "will bring a little power to bear this weekend for the trek". Sweet, Dan Holtz! Food ![]() I thought it would be nice with a genuine Spanish paella today to supplement the steady stream of dead pigeons ... Culture Music Those who hadn't had enough can once again work through our Trek #30 playlist Still suffering from Walking Pneumonia, I found some comfort in this this pick-me-up from deltavee - thank you, Hexagame buddy! Rocking Pneumonia and Boogie Woogie Flu I saved this one for alephnull's (that's how I finally learned it) first trek The Box As for love - here is a powerful statement - a painful beat and an intriguing video Rolling in the Deep ![]() EDIT: Quite a bit of uninteligible rubbish ... thank you brain - mushy if you like [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 18, 2011 6:58:24 PM] |

I'm happy to tell you, I heard from NAP2714
- Team Boise Idaho's Top Gun - who tells me that he's a little better today: "Can walk around a bit, even tho bouncing off the walls." That's OK. You may wait until tomorrow to do that, nap. He goes on to say: "Nothing would make me happier, on trek #30 than to be completely run over and smashed by the visitors." So, there you go: Put your hammers down, twist the handles, give them full throttle, Base Campers .... ******************** Mack the Knife ******************** |
