Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

stefada, we like to be showed around as 'if friends were visiting'. I feel that's what we are. Friends.
I'm impressed with your knowledge. I think that's what comes when you love where you live
- you love Bretagne, too ... and Louloup and your new computer - ah, so much love in one man
Eric_Kaiser, I asked you earlier
- but I think you didn't notice
I don't blame you
- I talk too much for anybody to cope
well, here it is.
Are you satisfied? Shout it to others, please
Are you dissatisfied? Whisper it to me, please - we want you to return for another trek if possible.
Good Morning Base Campers!
Our crew crunching with
Kraland
today has been reduced as earlier announced by BladeD rose going to the Raccoons shock
and I just noticed that NAP2614 rose went home – all the way to Boise Idaho
– thank you both for contributing to the success of this trek smile
Still crunching are:
Acpartsman
davewhite5xq7
Eric_Kaiser
Fossaw
little mermaid
spiritofDJ
tanner2
Urden
yodap@BC

The safe margin I hoped for yesterday is there. I think we have a very, very good chance at ending this trek
and the Kraland IX Challenge with Kraland as the winner.

The cheese I ordered inspired by stefada arrived. I KLiKed the track-and-trace feature e-mail and - vupti!
- there was a scan of the packet on my doormat. It was there in real life too.
So we have four pieces of Papillon Roquefort, Svenbo – the emmental type – and the low fats 6% - a well matured one and a very well matured one, and
I have my baker’s black bread – it goes very well with the Roquefort
I promised a cheese party, so here you go:

not to forget the radishes – the veggie in Denmark’s
- and Austria’s and Poland’s and Indonesia’s and Japan’s and Tunesia’s … we think we have a monopoly
national colors

the baguettes

the crackers

and the port
sujo1, adriverhoef, Tkizzle, and Johnny Cool, you are invited, too

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Red and White are the colours of an English flag also. People tend to assume the red white and blue "union jack" flag is England, but that is not the case, it is a design from merging the various flags of the countries which form the united kingdom. There is some discussion about it in fact as the Welsh flag does not appear, but Wales and England were under the same rule before it was first made, it is half proposed that it is changed to have a small red dragon in a circle added to the middle of the design.

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

The first time I saw the English flag must have been at a football match transmission on Danish TV
- we used to be allowed to watch one every Saturday afternoon during the winter break of the Danish league
and I thought that it was funny that it was 'the opposite of the Danish flag'.
Until then I had always believed it was Union Jack.
Even now - when I read you post - I had to turn that visually around in my head.

No, the Danish flag is not symetrical, the vertical bar is not central, the English flag is, otherwise the union flag would be weird.

blushing yes, sorry, I was inaccurate, Fossaw
I tend to believe the Scandinavian model is the template for all of the flags with a cross in them, but it isn't

And the Swiss one is surprisingly square ....

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Good Morning Base Campers!
When I checked I saw no changes of our crew crunching with Kraland so we are still:
Acpartsman
davewhite5xq7
Eric_Kaiser
Fossaw
little mermaid
spiritofDJ
tanner2
Urden
yodap@BC

If you haven’t seen it, here is the picture of acpartsman releasing his safekept WUs
and how the production stabilized at a higher level:

If you lack material of importance to convey, weather seems to be a good filler most of the time.
In Denmark May is shaping up to break a 134 year-old average high temperature record.
The summer of 2017 was so lousy and the winter so depressing, gray and drawn-out with Siberian cold into April sad
But now … everybody is smiling smile we really appreciate this hugs

I have made a habit out of smiling to the strangers I meet when I walk.
Usually at least 50% smile back - either because they want to be kind in return - or because they think rolling eyes blushing
These days my score is close to 85% smug
We shall probably return to the #1 spot on the World Happiness Index if this continues.
Take a look at the development of the temperatures of our coastal waters …

The beaches are crowded already.
For today, however we have a warning of scattered thunderstorms with heavy downpour popping up unpredictably ways.
