Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Black ticket? blushing I’m afraid I live in my own world, Fossaw.
On the other hand, if need be - or a desire - I think I could put my mind to it.
I have been able to ride the train to Malmö, Sweden. Twice biggrin
The Metro in Washington, D. C., never became a friend of mine – the l’Enfant city plan neither
but the Metro in Budapest was easy even as their language is difficult for any brain unaccustomed to it to proces.

Unfortunately you don’t get to enjoy the scenery that much riding the motorway up and down Funen
but as you say, it’s the fast way to do it.

Is there a motorway across Tåsinge as well? It’s such an idyllic place

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

C'est un membre de la Team Kraland, mais je crois qu'il s'est un peu perdu sur le forum.

He's a member of Team Kraland, but I think he got a little lost on the forum.
Yes, I checked, stefada, a fairly new member
- it’s easy to get lost, but I hope spiritofDJ will post again
He's smart, though. He already earned himself a badge shock
How did that happen?

rose

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

The motorway goes as far as Svendborg, not further, the bus then takes the old road over Tåsinge and Sio, the Langeland bridge, and Rudkøbing is almost where the bridge finishes, come over the bridge and turn right. The Svendborg motorway wasn't there until quite recently, before, if not driving, we'd take the train to Nyborg and a local bus to Svendborg and then another from there to Rudkøbing. Took longer, but the ride though the old towns of the East coast was much more attractive.

Yes, it's a very beautiful scenery, Fossaw.
So gentle ....
It's almost smiling - and you want to smile back.
Which part of England do you come from?

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Good Morning Base Campers!
Yesterday our crew was reinforced with BladeD and nap
– it’s been ages since you trekked, nap, so this time your badge will be earned with blood, sweat, tears, and toil.
From Kraland itself we had spiritofDJ announcing that he fired up his computer which mysteriously earned him a badge.
In the exit lane, however, we found TLD hauling his tent and fishing gear back to the streams he knows the best.
Thank you for your contribution, TLD rose
This will be something of a balancing act …
Currently our crew looks like this:
Acpartsman
BladeD
davewhite5xq7
Eric_Kaiser
Fossaw
little mermaid
NAP2614
spiritofDJ
tanner2
Urden
yodap@BC

For pie in the sky we have
Doneske who’s still in foreign lands
Eric_Kaiser who’s in foreign lands part time
acpartsman’s wife’s computers may come on line

Guitarman and sujo1 will get their honorary badges.
I need a bookkeeper! laughing

I still try to influence Aurum420. He’s very cool. No reaction whatsoever.
I placed an invitation with Byteball.org Team.
Oh, well, we'll find a way to beat Australia cool

Cheese
I went shopping.
Ulvedal Ost
- because life is too short for cheese that tastes like sticking your tongue out of the window on a rainy day
– my own creative translation blushing of their slogan.
Unfortunately, they don’t have an English version as far as I can tell.
I love cheese, so I went wild! devilish
4 of the Papillon roquefort – I’m afraid that’s how much I’ll like it
Svenbo – my all time favorite not available in my discount stores – an emmental type
2 low fats - have to think saturated fat! And compensate for the above – one matured and one extra matured

They took MobilePay payment online. Never tried that before.
This time and age certainly provide you with something new to learn every day.
Just before my factory reset of Saphir12-Nathalie I had finally downloaded that app and succeeded in using it once.
Downloaded it again and went through a thrilling drill of confirming this and confirming that on phone and laptop.
Hands and feet ...
Thought my order would be lost, but no, it went through
You’re all invited for cheese, baguettes, crackers, grapes, radishes and a fat low viscosity ruby port the day after tomorrow biggrin

Yes, isn't it? In many respects it is a fairytale country. Small and cute. We can get dramatic at times, though smile
Can't wait!
I'm glad to hear that, but try your best cool You have to give it a little time ...
How was your trip with Queen Mary II? Any complaints? All things considered I think you made it real fast.
Did you bribe the people in the engine room?
shame on you

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Born and raised in Richmond, a town in the conurbation of London, with a very big park, which was used as a hunting reserve by royalty in times gone by. My girlfriend and I rented a flat in Teddington, not far from Richmond, but when we were ready to buy a house, Richmond etc. was way too expensive. We took a trip out South West and looked at a few three bedroomed houses, and bought the third one we saw. It was in a small place called Frogmore, near Camberley, but just over the county boundary, so in Hampshire. I still support Hampshire cricket club.

Cricket! Very British, I think - and you tend to form a lifelong fandom
- can you say that?
with a club be it football, rugby, cricket or whatever.
Do you play cricket here?

And now you have lived in Denmark for a great many years.
What do you miss if you think of your time in England?
And what would you miss if you left Denmark?
