Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

And now on to something very different:
Do You remember our Trek #31 to My efforts against Childhood Cancer?

Well, our Captain's little step daughter Amira sent me this
which I'm proud to share with you - as children normally cannot stand me
- OK Amira never really met me blushing

Aurora Borealis - Northern Light - has been rampant for some nights in Scandinavia,
perhaps connected to some unsusually violent behaviour of the sun creating a massive magnetic storm
Our Finnish Captain also linked to this stunning video - would you believe it's for real?

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Good Afternoon Base Campers!
This will be the last ordinary day of both our simultanous Treks.
As to Outpost Trek #3 I have not status whatsoever.
Worse: I have none of Trek #34 with Kyuuninkai Task Force either,
which luckily is due to the team page being updated. Tomorrow I'll be able to give you a status.
As to badge suggestions, we have several to choose from as candidates for Trek #34,
whereas there is only one for Outpost Trek #3.
It would be nice to have a few more suggestions, so please let you inner artist loose ...

Pwrguru says that the Outpost Trek #4 for which we have a vote up is indeed on
for February again now. I suggested he posted a little more about this SIMAP challenge,
which might win a few more over for this suggestion.
Otherwise we have no immediaty tasks ahead of us;
however, every Base Camper is entitled, encouraged and welcome to post a suggestion.
We also have a waiting list which needs TLC, I think ....

In Denmark we have snow tonight. We avoided it for a long time, but we must have some snow
to call it a winter .... and in all probability tomorrow will be great for a walk with the camera

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Good Morning Base Campers!
Both of our simultanously run Treks are formally over now.
As to Outpost Trek #3 their Forum is closing down, they finish the WUs they have in their caches,
smile and I think Peluche wan
Trek #34 with Kyuuninkai Task Force lives on with
dl1000v
GTCola2012
jan649
kawika57@bc
Lighthouse
Punchy@BC
sunfolk
T.G.Wakko
yodap@BC
still on Geokamayoc's member list.

If you find the SIMAP February 2012 Scramble interesting to lay arms with, please ask pwrguru
for instructions in our Castle and ask him or TLD to make it our Outpost Trek #4 and create a write-up.
It starts in 2 days 15 hours 26 minutes and 32 seconds at the time of this writing
- so there is plenty of time ....

NAP2614 entered a badge suggestion for Outpost Trek #3.
That's good because then TLD gets to set up a vote for a badge for both our newly finished Treks.

Next Trek? Where? When? Whom?
Make your voice heard in our Castle - but first we get a winter break
to play in the snow/on the beach depending on your location ...

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Dear Base Campers,

many thanks for your massive effort during the last two weeks !!!!! With this huge number of results, my WCG team is now a Wonderful advertising tool for my real life research group. I work currently on a citizen science project: a complementary currency.

I need 15 days to get my silver badge for C4CW (in the spring), but i am already an happy captain.

All the best

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Good Evening Base Campers!
It all of a sudden feels a little empty ... no Treks
- well, I think we all need a break for a visit to our home teams wherever and whomever they are.
Trek #34 with Kyuuninkai Task Force still lives with
GTCola2012
jan649
kawika57@bc
NAP2614 who has rejoined
Punchy@BC
yodap@BC
on Geokamayoc's member list.

As you may have noticed, TLD mass e-mailed to inform you that he has set up votes
for the badge for each of the two recently finished Treks.

I lent the revolving door to RCC_Survivor who thought it might be practical for dl1000v.
I agree, and I'll ask dl1000v please to bring it with him at our next Trek whenever that may occur.
We did fit the rollers ..
