Good Morning Base Campers!
----------------------------------------This will be the last ordinary day of our trek with Crunching@EVGA and the departure has already started: Dan holtz and sunfolk left and those who wish can get ready for the Outpost Trek #3. We have a thread where you can check in in The Igloo 2 so you're sure to get your badge, because we have no way of telling who's in and who's not the way this one is constructed. BTW there may be problems logging in. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and out of confusion I always forget all the attempts I frantically make when it does not work the first time. But I must have tried all logarithmic combinations of New account and Existing account and then some before I got it to work - which I by the way didn't either, but that problem was solved by remote manipulation!!!Yes, I willingly act as your guinea pig. Another snafu may be the quantity of WUs available. I have not been able to download any little ones, and it claims that I'm too little for the big ones. What is wrong here: Too little for the big ones and too young to post .... Baby, baby I have requested a liaison officer .... in addition to the good one we already have - but in another direction I hope for the best, but in case we'll have to give it up, I have an orderly plan B ![]() M/S Scot Explorer - a British freight ship - lost it yesterday off the coast of northwestern Denmark [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 14, 2012 2:45:36 PM] |

I just wanted to thank all the Base Campers for dropping by and joining our EVGA team for one of your Treks!
----------------------------------------Also, to say hi to mike047, who was a teammate of mine many years ago on the EOC folding@home team when I was folding as KillerBeagle. Finally, though I have tried to register on your Base Camp forum, I don't seem to be receiving the registration email at my gmail account. ![]() |

Punchy, it has been a pleasure crunching with your team
- that team is a pleasure altoghether. I did PM mike047; he is, however, not our most avid poster, but he does come now and then - and he also has been noticed here in WCGland. I was away on other business for a short while, I'm sorry to say, Punchy, so I didn't notice that we had a New Base Camper. Our castle is old and creaky. It operates with a granite slab - I think we use tanner2's grandmother's baking stone just now - a hammer and a chisel. New Campers have to yell, scream, and kick the door to be noticed. Just as you did now. Besides, our landlord makes an update today ... I don't think we have registration e-mails. Please let me know if your get any, because then we do. I have manually lowered the bridge over our moat and opened the gate. Welcome Punchy! Please let yourself be known at the Check In where I'll make your very own pigeonhole |

Braggin' time!
TLD has dealt the badges for Base Camp's Christmas Trek - yours is in the Base Camp Tent of Fame and looks like this: ![]() Congratulations each and every Base Camper and each and every Visiting Musketeer - who have received badges and a place in that Tent of Fame as well - and the slacking in giving our Visiting Vultures from Trek # 31 *The Survivors* is also picked up by TLD - I cannot believe how fast he did this! He also found time to send mass e-mails to all Base Campers about our new Outpost Trek #3 - which reminds me: Punchy, please remember to sign up for the mass e-mails - there you will get a confirmation e-mail which habitually lands in a SPAM folder, just so you know Finally, TLD promised to put up a vote for the badge for Trek #33 which just finished with Crunching@EVGA - Geeez, Ted, now I have to say this about you, too: "I never saw anything quite like it!" Our Outpost Trek #3 is up an running - the first results has been turned in by our Visiting Crunching@EVGAs - the deadline was 23:01 UTC - and staypuft's result arrived in Peluche's account at 23:02:09!!!! Perkele fine timing I'm aware we have problems getting WUs both for the heavy rigs and for the skinny ones Unless that improves, I intend to put up a parallel Trek here at WCG - but we'll wait it out a bit .... |

Good Morning Base Campers!
We are doing our perkele best to run an Outpost Trek - and if you sense I'm not a happy camper, it's because that Trek has given us and our Visiting Crunching-at-EVGAs all kinds of problems. You can read all about it in our Castle, and I unloaded it all to our Visiting Crunching-at-EVGA's Forum as well - because this is a G-rated Forum .... ![]() |

Viper97 - Visiting Crunching@EVGA folder said he met no problems at
our Outpost Trek #3 and that is good. Now I'm making it easy on myself quoting opposite: Good for you, Viper97 but I and many others do have lots of problems - and it gave a lot of grief - and I did what I never did before - and everything has to be tried once: - I called it off!!! I cordially invite you to join our Trek #34 - when you have swept up the residue ... Please see the address in our Base Camp Forum/Where we're at - open for all to read without registration In French they say: "Ou est la femme" - meaning something like: "You never know ... with females" I was patient for 45 years there - I was patient for 45 hours here - I'm definitely learning something ... |

Good Morning Base Campers!
It has been a busy some 48 hours - we have two Treks running: Outpost Trek #3 - Charity Challenge 2012 and Base Camp Trek #34 with Team Kyuuninkai Task Force One is for the big boys - and if 3800 RAM is too small - and don't tell even an unnerdy person like me that that's not BIG - we can do #34. Base Camp is very pleased to welcome no less than two New Base Campers: Punchy and yodap live at Crunching@EVGA, our most recent host, and have joined us. Welcome to Base Camp, gentlemen! I'm sorry this has become somewhat tumultuous - I have not had the chance to check up on who left Trek #33 to mention one owed - but we'll get there. Please pick the Trek you want and have fun Wild World ![]() |

that's just splendid, - I would too, if I had your supercomputer I'm glad you do, because this way Peluche and The Musketeers need not feel let down as much as they could have been .... |
