Good Evening Base Campers!
Outpost Trek #3 still gives problems, and Viper97 - who has otherwise been gung-ho on this - just gave up on the monster WU. I'm not quite sure of how many Base Campers and Visiting EVGA crunchers are still battling this project. I only know how many will get a badge by the end of the Trek. You did remember to list yourself, didn't you? Trek #34 - well, we don't even have a write-up let alone a code name for this one. After deltavee and TLD left for other pursuits - thanks for participating the crew consists of dl1000v, jan649, little mermaid, NAP2614, Punchy@BC, sunfolk, T.G.Wakko, tanner2 and yodap@BC. Cann't We Be Friends nap2614 mailed me a photo from the college area in Boise, Idaho ![]() |

Good Morning Base Campers!
Outpost Trek #3 - yes, what with that? I don't really know, but we had help which we did not know of, and I was handed a riddle. The cruncher says he/she is not an EVGA or BC'er, just an ordinary WCG cruncher, whatever that is and which does not exactly narrow it down.We know his/her vitals, because he gave his ID #15621 at RNAWorld, and maucou was quick giving me the specifics. Do you know this cruncher? ![]() I have a bid in saying NCR (Mississauga). Let's hear from the Base Camp CIA and the Forum Police, please Trek #34 - everything is rolling along. dl1000v joined his home team *The Survivors* just five seconds before TLD's mass e-mail about new Treks arrived and he pulled stakes immediately with a promise to Captain rcc of returning after this one. tanner2 called it a day after putting in 164 of those days, so the crew is now: dl1000v, jan649, kawika57@bc, little mermaid, NAP2614, Punchy@BC, sunfolk, T.G.Wakko, yodap@BC and the latest one to join: USAFA 82. PecosRiverM must be behind sufficiently in their internal competition for USAFA 82 to get himself a badge - talking of which: We have badge suggestion threads - one for images, one for chatty posts. Badges must be 64 pixel high and .jpg or .gif files. Please try your hand. Conquistador I used to think it must be hard for cancer patients to be reminded each time a checkup was due. The fact is it's always there, part of you, spread out as peanut butter on a slice of Wonder Bread. When the check-up gets close, the peanut butter gets a little chunkier, and if all goes well, it evens out again |

Good Morning Base Campers!
----------------------------------------Who is the mystery cruncher? The police put up posters of missing persons with pictures of them. We put up their specifications. Who is it? Those I asked say: "I didn't do it "Outpost Trek #3 - how it goes? I dunno - you tell me, please Trek #34 - that goes very well. Geokamayoc told us participating Base Campers that his team now has the results he had hoped to get by 2018!!! We have the same crew crunching as yesterday, GTCola2010 joined the Trek. Thank you so much. You have been missed, and I worried to a great extent what had happened to you. To see you around at WCG Forum was a comfort, to see you on the Crunching@EVGA memberlist was very good, and to see you here .... Welcome home! tanner2 wanted to know if he would get two badges if he rejoins. The answer is: Yes! Not long ago an accordion street "musician" from Romania received a court order not to play in the shopping streets of my city because he scared away the customers with his lack of musicality .... well, he's back - and he brought his brothers and cousins .... tanner2, so nice of you to say so - and to keep me out of trouble
----------------------------------------- I hope we shall Trek together to many more places Good Morning, Good Morning Base Campers! Outpost Trek #3 - is up in the air - maybe a little more so than you would think and in another way. Did you enjoy Hypernova's post in Team U. S. Air Force's team thread? Could "anonymous" be one of his blue ones from his basement you saw at X-mas? Trek #34 - NAP2614 went home to plow the snow in Boise, Idaho. Thank you for trekking, nap We have been joined by Viper97 and Lighthouse. Welcome to both of you If this continues, we'll take Kuyyninkai Task Force to AD 2020 or beyond ... Thank you very much for all your help here, there and everywhere - I wish I had met this picture while the Musketeers visited. Never mind - every Base Camper is a Duke to me in his own right Though the grapevine I heard of a local mead brewer; he was out yesterday, but today he sold me his homebrewed mead ![]() He also keeps bees and sell honey. I know several of you are home brewers. I would like to serve you all a drink, but so far broadband does not carry liquids. The label reads: Made according to old Danish 1700 century recipe. "Old Danish Mead" Solvangsbryg Aargang (Solvangsbrew - the man lives at Solvangsvej - Sunfield Road Vintage 2008) - not quite five years old as Viper97's, but I bought two bottles, and I could put one in my basement storage room ... I think ![]() Tomorrow upstairs Yvonne and I are off to see a Henri Toulouse-Lautrec special in Copenhagen National Gallery of Denmark [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 21, 2012 3:22:46 PM] |
