Noticed a funny one being that for all the BOINC platforms, the minimum CPU speed has disappeared on the System Requirements page (UD agent stills show 550mhz). Now I don't know what speed a P266 or P200 is, but if those are the speeds of the CPU's, I'd not be surprised it's the reason. Also, the chance is, speculating all your devices are attached to same 1 of 4 device profiles, that you changed the permitted % of memory use during operating the computer and idle. e.g. 75% of 256mb would knock a machine off the 256 minimum requirement.

Copy and paste for each device the first 20 lines into a post which would look like this: 28/10/2007 13.01.08||Starting BOINC client version 5.10.24 for windows_intelx86 28/10/2007 13.01.08||log flags: task, sched_ops, checkpoint_debug 28/10/2007 13.01.08||Libraries: libcurl/7.17.0 OpenSSL/0.9.8e zlib/1.2.3 28/10/2007 13.01.08||Data directory: C:\Programmi\BOINC 28/10/2007 13.01.16||Processor: 1 GenuineIntel Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.53GHz [x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 4] 28/10/2007 13.01.16||Processor features: fpu tsc sse sse2 mmx 28/10/2007 13.01.16||OS: Microsoft Windows XP: Professional Edition, Service Pack 2, (05.01.2600.00) 28/10/2007 13.01.16||Memory: 1.50 GB physical, 3.60 GB virtual 28/10/2007 13.01.16||Disk: 39.07 GB total, 26.57 GB free 28/10/2007 13.01.16||Local time is UTC +0 hours 28/10/2007 13.01.16|boincsimap|URL: http://boinc.bio.wzw.tum.de/boincsimap/; Computer ID: 12345; location: home; project prefs: home 28/10/2007 13.01.16|climateprediction.net|URL: http://climateprediction.net/; Computer ID: 123456; location: home; project prefs: home 28/10/2007 13.01.16|malariacontrol.net beta|URL: http://www.malariacontrol.net/; Computer ID: 23456; location: work; project prefs: work 28/10/2007 13.01.16|World Community Grid|URL: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/; Computer ID: 34567; location: home; project prefs: home 28/10/2007 13.01.17||General prefs: from World Community Grid (last modified 17-Sep-2007 13:14:06) 28/10/2007 13.01.17||Host location: home 28/10/2007 13.01.17||General prefs: using separate prefs for home 28/10/2007 13.01.17||Reading preferences override file 28/10/2007 13.01.17||Preferences limit memory usage when active to 921.29MB (60%) 28/10/2007 13.01.17||Preferences limit memory usage when idle to 1381.94MB (90%) 28/10/2007 13.01.17||Preferences limit disk usage to 9.31GB 28/10/2007 13.01.18||Suspending network activity - user request This is the minimum together with an as complete as possible issue description and a piece of the message log, including 5 to 10 lines before and after the problem lines we like members to post when asking for help. So much for headless crunchers. Would you edit the Opening Post Title (little pencil next to) and insert [RESOLVED]. This way anyone after coming to the rescue wont have to open the thread to know things are A Okay again.
----------------------------------------We do love miracles, particularly on Sunday. cheers @Ron, I meant to Insert [RESOLVED], with brackets, not replace. Now no-one knows from topic what was being fixed. ![]()
