An update:
I have one machine uploading/downloading OK. Two machines cannot connect for some unknown reason. Hate to lose this compute time. Suggest you shutdown/restart those machines proper. Assuming it sits behind a single router, you could have some IP/DNS pollution ?
----------------------------------------Ping www.google.com and secure.worldcommunitygrid.org from those boxes. That would confirm at least http port 80 is connecting.

You must be a real good carpenter since you "hit the nail square on the head". When I went to bed this morning, I shut both systems down so as not to waste electicity. On return, first thing I did was turn back-on and ...Voila ! Both started up/downloads and we are good for go. I then came here and found your comment. -- Thanks --. Paul T |
