Re: Faster New Batches of Work

Just feedback

The DDDT 0202 WU's I have completed have run from 01:20:xx to 03:11:xx.

XP SP2 on 3.0GHz processors with a Gig of memory. I don't where these machines compare to the "average" machine but it is a bit longer than I expected. It's OK by me though.

Re: Faster New Batches of Work

The first 100 must have exhausted as just received a set in the '101 series again. As for the '202's, the fastest went thru in 0:29 and slowest in 1:02 hours. The DDD-T job-time averages are going to look like a roller coaster laughing

No complaints though.

Or this one

dddt0201a0002_ ZINC04757226-0000_ 00_ 0-- IBM-4EFB77B5177 Valid 10/26/2007 19:12:17 10/27/2007 16:13:45 4.17 31.8 / 23.4

This was processed on P4 dual core 3.0GHz with a gig of RAM. There is nothing on the machine but XPpro, a firewall, BOINC 5.10.22 and couple of utilities (e.g. speedfan). Just wondering why I am showing longer run times?

Re: Faster New Batches of Work

Suggest you run CPU-z to check if your processors run at full tilt.

Thanks Sekerob. I'm not exactly sure of what I am looking at but it shows for that machine:

Core Speed 2993.8 MHz
Bus speed 199.8 MHz
Rated FSB 798.2 MHz

Would that be normal?

Re: Faster New Batches of Work

If CPU-Z shows those figures whilst BOINC is running i have no plausible explanation. What about the Frequency of RAM shown in CPU-z's Memory tab?
