Hello everybody!
----------------------------------------So how long is the deadline of the Discovering Dengue Drugs - Together workunits? If found out that Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2 workunits have a deadline of 11 day, and FightAIDS@Home have a deadline of 9 days. Oh, I almost forgot, how about AfricanClimate@Home? Hello everybody! So how long is the deadline of the Discovering Dengue Drugs - Together workunits? If found out that Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2 workunits have a deadline of 11 day, and FightAIDS@Home have a deadline of 9 days. Oh, I almost forgot, how about AfricanClimate@Home? Hi Thrawn, Probably you know already and are just interested in the info for projects you've not seen yet, but if you open the BOINCmgr (The WCG Default Simple View > Advanced View button) and go to the 'Tasks' tab, you see a 'Report Deadline' column at right side. Just work backwards to determine the days when a new work unit is received. If you want to know what are the longest and shortest, -FA@H and HPF2 are aimed to average 7 hours (reference machine) -DDDT, present batches with '201' in the work unit number about 1 hour. Before the aim was same as FA@H and HPF2. -AC@H do about 18 hours on my P4, but they average 7-8 hours Reliable computers with a fast return time, say within 24 hours, get rush jobs assigned at times .... they usually need completion within 24-48 hours. BOINC will automatically prioritize them if you have more jobs in the Tasks buffer and will pause jobs with a later due date. cheers

Hi Sekerob,
Why I asked these? Because in our team, there are some computers that have power for 7/24, but sometimes they can't connect to the internet for a week. So deadline time is important for them, if we don't want to see 'Too late' at the result status. I'm participated in all projects, even beta. If I'm right DDDT has a deadline of 9 days. But now, I don't have any AC@H workunit so this is still a black hole for me. About the lenght of the workunits I found this: Workunit lenght And for the deathline: Workunit deadline My computer has an AMD 4200+ X2 @ 2871MHz (perfectly stable of course), and I'm using Vista Ultimate with the latest BOINC (5.10.28). The lenght of the workunits are: HPF2: 4.7-5.3 hour FAH: 4.24-5.76 hour DDDT: 4.54-5.46 Hour (at now I have smaler workunits, about 1 hour) AC@H: 5.4 hour Thank you for your help, and thank you too Dataman! Sorry for my english, but it is not my native language ![]() |

The Announcement for AC@H actually mentions the 5 days deadline. AC@H jobs are so rare and System and Internet Speed requirements so hi that not all will get them anyhow. All other projects i think will remain a uniform 9 days as that is easier on the BOINC scheduling.
