Shucks .... and I thought you would send me the money for the quad machines. Well, "the check is in the mail" sounded a bit lame.....especially when there wasn't one! ![]() |

Well, it would seem today is barney15c day!
---------------------------------------- Nice milestones. I wonder who is minding the machines while Gerald's up in Maine? I doubt he took them with him. I'm sure he'll be back up to snuff quick enough. In the meantime, here's a chance to have a shot at grabbing that top spot for the day. ![]() |

Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2 You might want to keep an eye on the new Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2 work units that start with the letters "zb". In the past three days I have received 3 invalids, 2 inconclusives (where all replications of them were inconclusive) and 2 that went into a loop and I had to abort them. There is not much you can do with the invalids and inconclusives but if you see a "zb" work unit where BOTH the CPU time and the Time to Completion is going UP and the %Competed is not changing, it is in a loop and you may as well abort it as it will not complete. ![]() ![]() |

Regarding the looping WUs, see Human Proteome Folding Phase 2 (HPF2) Appears making No Progress / Seems Stuck as that may be related. |

Regarding the looping WUs, see Human Proteome Folding Phase 2 (HPF2) Appears making No Progress / Seems Stuck as that may be related. Yes I saw, and tried, that and rebooting as well. It didn't work for me but it might work for others. ![]() ![]() |

Yes I saw, and tried, that and rebooting as well. It didn't work for me but it might work for others. ![]() I just received another "zb" one looping (different machine). The above procedure did not work this time either. So far this HPF problem (along with the invalids and inconclusives) have wasted over 50 CPU hours of processing time. I have opted out of HPF until there is some indication that this problem is fixed. I hate wasting resources!! ![]() ![]() |
