I'd like to have boinc only process at specific times on specific days. for example:
i'd like to run 3:30pm - 7:30am M-F and all day/night on Sat-Sun. Basically I don't want it processing anytime that I'm using my computer. I've had too many issues with the client's slowing down my machine when its supposed to be running off idle cycles. blame the client. blame linux. I don't care :) The client seems to have basic controls over when and when not to run but nothing involving days of the week. |

This feature is new in 5.10. We don't recommend you upgrade just yet, though.

I would like to be able to set time frames for running, network connection and etc in the form hh:mm-hh:mm,hh:mm-hh:mm,hh:mm-hh:mm
For example: 00:00-08:00,12:00-13:00,17:00-24:00 |

For the running part, the "do not run while used" combined with an idle resume maximises computing while not impairing use (though the whole idle cycles design of BOINC is to not impair even when the computer is used)
