Re: Secure Non Secure items

It allows wildcards, so I would just allow *.worldcommunitygrid.org

Re: Secure Non Secure items

Well the one I added was the one shown in the Road Map....

Both my first instruction and the road map showed to add both addresses. i.e. the http+https address. Carefully look to see that the add box has the http in it and the list the https!

For clarity and for better presentation I pasted the second address into the list box and zoomed the picture a bit further.

There was one "suggestion(instruction)" missing, not mentioned on the linked website, nor by me, but after adding the http address, you can reselect the "Require Server verification box (for https)". As I wrote to be able to *add* the http address, one needs to de-select. Have added that step into the roadmap too. This ensures that you are back to maximum banking safety (if you trust IE for that)

Now I'm going to bask a bit in the sun.... missed that as we had 2 days of clouds and one 45 minute thunderstorm bringing 3 cm of rain (setting the 4 month total to 5cm).

Re: Secure Non Secure items

OK, put the wild cards in...made sure both http and https are in the trusted sites box....still the same! It requires that Internet is set to Allow mixed. Anything I do in the Trusted sites makes no difference at all.

Re: Secure Non Secure items

Okay, I looked a little closer at the problem. It's caused by WCG adding Google Analytics to the site.

So, you need to allow *.google-analytics.com

Sorry it took me so long.

PS - you can disallow it instead if you wish - it's not particularly important.

Re: Secure Non Secure items

Found a web page clearly explaining how to identify quickly and effectively any insecure weblinks on a secure page and vice versa. But now it's lunchtime .... oogle is up 24/7 analyzing traffic, so I'm sure they can tell how long it lasted wink
