A little haiku may be just what the doctor ordered my friend... cows strolled down the road courine asks Got Milk? while a preacher shepherds them ![]() Good one 7cures! You might post that on the Haiku thread as well!! I have enjoyed this fun challenge. (This thread too!) It might be interesting to note the "amount of the real addition" of Crunch Power that has been added to the WCG during the month. The Power Cows seem to have brought allot of Bandwidth our way and I think it would be nice to appreciate just how much!!! You know points/results/machines and maybe even Bandwidth! I know I can't deal with the figures but some of you math wizards could (I'm sure) map it out for us... Just a thought (Ouch) lol Robby |

Thanks geophysic. Still looking for that super Mega Flush by the challenger. An MF is analogy maybe to the 'Royal Flush', when one puts the final strike of cards on the table. The Cs are out of sight, in other words, the curvature of earth and standing level ground puts them behind by more than about 16km, but who knows will they have a guest building reserves off-line and not yet having hit the 'join team' button. Points reported in the last 24 hours UTC go to the team one is member off at 23:59 UTC.

Jal2, you are correct. This is probably not the correct place for my message. I create these graphs for my team (UserFriendly.Org). Try these: Cumulative points for both teams since they started. Daily points since July 1'st: The smoothing is the seven day average. I will update these from time to time. Great scores for both teams! Thank you so much geopsychic for your Work on the Graphs! |

Interesting, I left a post here yesterday, but it seems that gone. I didnt check that it was posted, as im still in bed and not in my head. I may have just not submitted it.
----------------------------------------I just wanted to thank those who joined in like sek and geo, who carried on in the spirit of this thread, even after I wasnt able to respond with my usual sportscaster posts. But there is always a next time. When I get back on my feet (or able to sit for more than a few minutes), I plan to do it again. As this thread has brought the need attention to give the Team Challenge system a fighting chance. We got a good 30 share this time, next time it will be a 40. All to prove that the neglect of the "human drama" in this forum, blocks the fertile thinking that would feed the social convection, that would help this place grow "dramatically". And now, with a hearty congratulations to both teams, the final score: Dutch Power Cows 27,832,388 Christians 13,209,131 So until next time when we will be SPANNING the forum, bringing you the very best in teams. The THRILL of VICTORY! And the agony of defeat. The human drama of cybernetic competition. This has been: __________WCG's _____________WIDE ________________WORLD __________________of SPORTS! Thanks for all the updates courine, geopsychic and oneguy (and Sek of course) !!
----------------------------------------We managed to pass 2 more teams in the last day of our challenge, so we're at #22, hopefully we'll get into the Top-20 soon, even without the help of our "temporary cows". It was a great challenge for both teams and - of couse - in the end WCG is the winner! ![]() ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by depriens at Sep 1, 2007 5:23:12 PM] |
