If a few more would do that, DPC would pass your former team as well, overnight wink

Re: I just wanted to welcome the Dutch Power Cows to the top 10 in daily production

Always hard to say how many DPC cow will stay.

Looking for example at the Stampede (which is an organised effort to put as much power as possible at one project) we had at Folding @ Home some while ago some people stay, some new people have joined because of the challenge and will stay and some will go back to their old project and/or new challenges. But because that third category often are the largest crunchers, the post-challenge output flattens down after a while to a little bit above pre-challenge values.

Me personally: I have now two clients crunching on WCG that were on F@H before: an Intel Pentium 4 and an Intel Core 2 Duo. I still have a Playstation 3 folding on F@H. I will probably go back to F@H with my Intel C2D (an Intel C2D because of the optimised clients really is competative in F@H), but I seriously consider keeping my Pentium 4 on WCG (as a P4 is not making many difference in F@H against the PS3 and multicore power).

As to take on the really big teams in WCG: I think we would need an official Stampede to do this (the only way to gather even more power than we do now on WCG I think), which DPC does once a year and this year one already did take place. So maybe next year we should WCG up as an option to vote for when deciding the next Stampede.

What a lucky girl am I.
I was here for your yearly stampede chelloocom.xahmol !!!

It has been truly exciting. Lots of dust.
After the first couple of seconds, I can't say that I saw anything at all..
Hard to stay on the track even.

Very smelly too, if you don't mind my saying.
Different smells from the usual beer and popcorn.

It's been fun playing with you, Herr chelloocom.xahmol.
Please come by the next time you are in town.
