Update on this
He was admitted back in the hospital yesterday, they change his med's, reduced his steroids, which caused him to sleep more and he got dehydrated and his kidney numbers are slightly elevated and slightly enlarged, but working real well, other then that he is do ok. Update from his website
 Journal update notification e-mails. Saw Brenton at the hospital yesterday, he was scheduled for a byopsy, but was postponed until today, he was in to much pain to lay on his stomach for the procedure, so they are going to have it taken place in another department that can administer pain meds. I am just now getting involved in the meaning of acute kidney failure. yesterday his kidneys were at 33% effectiveness in removing waste products from his blood. I have only googled this "kidney problems" for just a few hours. It is overwelming at the least. Choosing a correct path of action and responding and not reacting is a bit of a struggle. Remaining objective and not subjective is rather daughting. I hope no one has to go through this. The nurses and doctors I know are fully aware of my lack of knowledge, by the questions I ask coupled with my hard of hearing. Brenton is like a deer in the headlights...I feel so bad for him and anyone involved. More news later.  |
