Every time I boot up I get the registration form, which was incompletely loaded. Can I uninstall the WCgrid, and get rid of the idiotic opening screen which is imbecilic in the extreme, remembers nothing and is obviously surplus to requirements!!

How do I get rid of it?

I am running Boinc. Will that stand on its own without the WC grid?

I believe that there is a conflict with my MFC scanner/printer, because since loading the grid/boinc, I am unable to scan documents without disconnecting the power from the printer/scanner. A pain.

Also noted is that booting up now takes about 4-5 min, previously it was just over a minute. Very slow in filling in the various icons.

The Timer on the clock must be working on Mars (or remoter planet) minutes, because frequently the remaining time is more than double, around three times Earth time.

I've seen the adjustment info, but after nearly three weeks, the timing remains about the same.

Now it it appears to interfering with Skype loading. I've tried rebooting 5 timesa today after the problem noted, but skype is the last to load, 4 min in.

I am running a 3.2 ghz intel processor with 2g RAM.

I would like to continue on the project, but not at any cost.
