Okay, I have tried digging thru our past results and here's what I think our records are:

Okay, I have tried digging thru our past results and here's what I think our records are: Results Returned: 08/24/2005 1,609 Points: 06/25/2007 319,374 Runtime: 01/25/2006 1:123:00:53:34 It appears we did set a record for points today! Wait till tomorrow keith...

Not only was it a points record, but it was the highest we have seen in nearly a year and a half! I could go for a few more like that! |

Excellent job team on the points record of the day.
A few more like this and we can be back in the top 10 again, but I know our campers are about to move onto the next team that needs the help also. Thanks campers for all the help while your here. Hintsala, don't want you to fall thru the cracks on this. If you're running the UD agent, its benchmarks won't accurately reflect anything beyond an ancient x286 chip it seems. When I switched to BOINC a year and a half ago, it took all of about five minutes to download, install and get it running. I'd recommend that you let UD finish it's current WU and then shut it down. Yes, it probably will have started on a new one but don't worry about that. You can even have BOINC downloaded beforehand and then install after you shut down UD. Be sure to take UD out of your startup folder so that it doesn't start back up on your next reboot. Once you have BOINC running, we can tweak your profile to your situation/needs/desires. Dave gave excellent info on BOINC. You'll be better off for the switch. WCG is finally beginning to move away from the UD agent so it's a good move for that too. Im still here. I downloaded boinc and have it running 24/7 with 100% CPU which I am not sure I am going to keep. I also have it downloading 1 additional day worth of work just in case. It seems strange that I lost on entire day worth of results because I ran WCG Agent until I started BOINC and now have WCG removed from startup. Oh well as long as everything is ok. |
